Everything I Packed for a Week in Paris.

We recently returned from a week in Paris, and while I’m still daydreaming about our Left Bank food tour and fun scooter rides along the Seine, I have to say: my suitcase really earned its keep this trip.

With a packed itinerary that took us from sunset cocktails at La Fantaisie to window shopping in the 9th and long dinners that stretched late into the evening, everything I brought had to be comfortable, versatile, and ready for a little bit of everything.

I stuck mostly to a neutral palette—lightweight knits, well-fitting trousers, and stripes in rotation—and it made getting dressed each morning feel effortless. The one standout? A silk floral dress that was as comfortable as it was elegant. Light enough for warm evenings, but polished enough for a tasting menu at Amâlia.

Paris in the summer is always a little unpredictable, but this time, my packing list felt just right. Scroll on to see what I packed for a week in Paris—and what I’d bring again.

Veronica Beard Pruitt Ribbed Tee

A white tee is a year-round staple, and this one gets the details just right. The slim fit hugs in all the right places without feeling too tight—perfect for tucking into high-waisted trousers or a pair of shorts. The fabric is soft but holds its shape, and the slightly extended sleeves give it a more polished feel. It’s the kind of basic that quietly pulls everything together.

Tuckernuck x Studio McGee Gingham Shorts

These are the MVP of my summer wardrobe. The gingham adds just enough interest while still playing nicely with my neutral basics. I love the tailored, slightly A-line shape—it’s polished but incredibly comfortable. The elastic waistband is discreet, the length is spot on, and they look just as good with a tee and sandals as they do white sneakers.

Loeffler Randall Theo Two-Band Sandals

These sandals are as versatile as they are comfortable. The simple, streamlined design works with everything in my wardrobe, and the neutral tone makes them an easy choice day after day. I’ve walked over 15,000 steps in them without a second thought—they’re that comfortable. A summer staple I reach for constantly.

DIFF Opaline & Grey Camila Sunglasses

These sunnies instantly elevate everything I wear. The opaline-and-grey hues are soft yet striking, making them surprisingly versatile with both neutrals and brights. Their slightly oversized shape frames the face beautifully, and they feel substantial without being heavy. A go-to pair anytime I want an effortlessly polished finishing touch.

J. Crew Factory Striped Linen Button-Front Shell

I found this top on a whim at my local J.Crew Factory the day before we left for Paris, and I’m so glad I did. The linen blend is light and easy, the fit is just relaxed enough, and the stripes go with everything. A lucky last-minute addition that ended up being a favorite.

Madewell Pieced Barrel-Leg Jean

The high-waist cut of these white barrel-leg jeans is essential for a summer vacation—clean, polished, and endlessly versatile. The subtle barrel shape strikes a cool balance: full through the thigh but narrow at the ankle, giving them a modern edge without feeling overdone. Made in crisp tile-white denim, they tuck beautifully into sandals or pair effortlessly with a tee.

Maria La Paz Linen Vest

I found this in a local boutique and immediately gravitated towards its sophisticated, tailored look. This linen vest is simple but so chic. The off white color works with everything, and the tailored fit adds just the right amount of structure.

Le Jean Virginia Wide Leg

I have been living in these jeans ever since my early postpartum days last fall. The high-rise cut creates a clean, polished silhouette, while the super-soft yet supportive denim gently hugs your curves in the best way. It’s the kind of pair that works as hard as it looks—equally at home on a café terrace or city stroll.

Madewell Tie-Waist Midi Shirtdress

This dress is feminine and easy in the best way. The tie waist gives it a flattering shape, the full skirt has just enough volume for a fun twirl, and the subtle sleeve detail adds a cool, thoughtful touch. It’s the kind of piece that works with sneakers, sandals, or heels—chic without trying too hard.

Everlane Court Sneaker

I’ve lost count of how many pairs of these Everlane sneaks I’ve owned over the years. They’re a perennial favorite—no break-in period, clean lines, and they go with everything from shorts and jeans to skirts and dresses. The kind of white sneaker I never travel without.

Natalie Martin Vivi Dress

This is a slight variation on the Natalie Martin dress I picked up for an event while eight months pregnant last year—and I’m still wearing it all the time. The floral pattern is beautiful without feeling too bold, and the high-quality silk makes it feel as good as it looks. It’s lightweight, packs easily, and works with everything from sandals to heels.

Stuart Weitzman Nude Wedge Heel

These nude heels go with everything and are shockingly comfortable. The mid-height makes them easy for all-day wear, and the clean, minimal design works just as well with dresses as it does with jeans.
